They meet on Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm and each one brings their own project. If someone needs help, this is the place to go.
Alice Tvetan shows off her recent project. She knits & crochets for charity. Right now, she is working on a baby blanket. She has been taking her projects to Hope Pregnancy Center in Salem. Another project she works on is making dog blankets for ‘Project Pooch’, the Humane Society, and the Cat adoption center. Her
Meanwhile, Sue Conser was busy working on a project making twin blankets. She knits, crochets, and does something called: “Huck Toweling”. It is like embroidery but is worked on woven cloth.
Many years ago, Evangeline Harris started this group. The Present-day coordinator is Mary Snead.
