First Organized as Senior Estates Country Club in 1962 by the developers, Geo F. Bryce jr., George J. Marshall, Edward B. Twining and Leo C. Rush, Leo C. Rush was the general contractor, and the dining hall is named for him. Senior Estates golf and Country Club is one of the oldest Homeowners Association in the State of Oregon. Senior Estates Golf and Country Club is a 501-C (7) non-profit corporation that benefits individuals aged 55+ years. Each of the 1,511 homeowners have undivided ownership in all facilities and common areas, including the clubhouse and golf course. Located in the mid-Willamette Valley, it is within easy driving distance of the Oregon coast and Mt. Hood recreational areas.
History:

Senior Estates Golf and Country Club is a homeowner’s association, where all members (owners) can share the common grounds and participate in various groups, clubs and other amenities that are offered.
Clubhouse:

The Clubhouse at Senior Estates golf and Country Club is apprised of several buildings. They include an Auditorium, Dining Hall, Card Room, Association Office, Billard Room (with Dart Board), Craft room, Offices of the News & Views, Several Meeting Rooms, Library, Restaurant, and Pro Shop.

Houses in Senior Estates Golf and Country Club are all one-story, one-to-three-bedroom, ranch-style homes with attached garages and backyard patios. After over 60 years, most of the houses have been updated, the trees have matured, creating wonderful, attractive, and interesting neighborhood.
Several homes line our beautiful golf course, overlooking large maples and lush fairways. Our quiet streets provide for easy navigation and pleasant walks.
About a third of the homes in Senior Estates Golf and Country Club are located south of Mt Hood Avenue, which connects Interstate 5 to downtown Woodburn. We have our own golf cart tunnel that takes you under the street for easy access to our north-side clubhouse, restaurant, pool, and golf course.
